The short tales A Put on Path simply by Eudora Welty and Used To Live Right here Once by Jean Rhys both carry the theme, symbolism of a voyage. In equally writings the authors employed people, spots and things to symbolize a thing extra, expanding the tales into more than just what is read. I chose these stories because they both consist of good symbolic recommendations to life. Every single story was written in a third-person point of view and consisted of a trip made by the main characters, which in both situations happened to be a black girl. Her decision to accept this problem shows her strength and determination live on. Once Phoenix, arizona had achieved it " up through pinastre, ” the lady then encountered the challenge of, " down through oaks” (R. T.
